Because we are small family operation & are often on-site working on projects we exclusively use an internal, securely monitored Automated Intelligent Response (AIR) receptionist... April is now here to answer most general questions about our services & gather basic information about your project details. It usually takes about 2-3 minutes to gather relevant information to schedule a free consultation & provide details to a project manager. Please provide a few photos and as much detail about your needs, location, and how to contact you for smooth coordination!
April our AIR receptionist can answer many questions any time FREE 24/7 & will schedule your consultation directly with a project manager. Most of our clients seem to like the TEXTING option as it allows you to share pictures, share product links, etc. Some projects or problems may additionally require an on-site consult or visit after our phone consult. Clients will be advised of the reasons why during the initial phone consult. The objective of the phone consult is to provide a verbal estimate of potential cost and timeline as quickly as possible without the need of an on-site visit if possible, saving time and expense if adequarte info can be shared. We generally do not bill by the hour. We do not charge additional truck roll fees/travel fees within our service area. General services are defined by us as tasks that can be performed by one individual with basic tools, whereas specialized trade services, multiple personel, advanced complex or multi day projects may recieve competitive flat rate custom bids for hire. Required Deposits for service scheduling are defined per bid for hire or as outlined in our general terms and are scheduled into our active work time-tables in order of deposits recieved and other contributing factors considered by At Home Trades at our discretion.

This company was just the best to work with on a variety of projects. They communicated well and kept me updated on the progress, gave me feedback about the projects, and advice about the possible directions to take, offering me several different options, their pros and cons, and their various price points. The latest project was a costly one that made me apprehensive about the end result. I needed to get it right, replacing and refinishing the hardwood flooring for my entire main floor. I only had one shot to get this right. They held my hand and guided me through it, helping me by giving me the most beautiful custom color that has all of my friends in awe. It was... amazingly beautiful work! I couldn't be more pleased. Defintely top- notch work with a color that is in keeping with the integrity of my vintage house.
